What we did
The client and the brief
Ligare is a men’s suit boutique in Zabok, about half an hour’s drive from Zagreb. It sells ready-made suits for weddings, work and formal occasions, and every suit is altered in the shop to fit the customer. Customers come from the Zagorje region and from Zagreb.
A suit is chosen in person, through conversation and a fitting. So the site did not need to be a classic online store with a cart and checkout. It needed to be a first impression that explains what buying a suit here looks like and leads people to visit. At the same time, the owner had to be able to show what is currently in stock without calling us for every change.
The approach
We built six main pages: Home, Collections, Process, Showroom, About and Contact. The design follows the brand rather than a ready-made template, and we wrote the copy specifically for this boutique.
The Process page got the most attention. Many customers do not know the difference between a suit made from scratch and a ready-made suit that is altered, so the page walks through the visit, the choice, the fitting and the alterations step by step, and lists the most common alterations. It ends with answers to questions customers actually ask, such as how long alterations take.
Instead of a cart, we added an enquiry list. In the Showroom a visitor sees what is currently available, opens an item, picks a colour and size and adds it to the enquiry. The boutique receives an enquiry about a specific model, and the customer gets a fitting appointment. The sale is still closed in the shop, where the suit is tried on.
What we delivered
- Six main pages and a separate page for each item in the Showroom
- Collections by occasion: weddings, business, casual and accessories
- A Showroom that loads stock from its own database, with categories and labels for new and discounted items
- An enquiry list instead of a cart, with colour, size and quantity options
- An admin area where the boutique edits items, categories and photos itself
- A contact form with an occasion field, protected from spam by a check that does not ask visitors to solve puzzles
- Address, opening hours, a Google Maps link and a tap-to-call button in the header and on the homepage
- Structured data for search engines: a clothing store with address, coordinates and opening hours, product data on each item page and FAQs on the Process page
- Only essential cookies, with no analytics that would need consent
Technology
The pages are lightweight static HTML, while stock, enquiries and photos run through a small custom API on Cloudflare’s network. There is no WordPress and no plugins to update. Titles and copy are written for local search, for people looking for a men’s suit in Zabok, Zagorje and Zagreb.
The outcome
The site is live on the client’s own domain, ligare.hr. A visitor can browse the collections, see what is in the shop right now, put together an enquiry about specific models and send it with the occasion, or call the boutique with one tap. The owner updates stock through the admin area, so the site keeps up with what is actually on the rails.
